The company was founded by Sean Paul Adams, whose career spans both financial analysis and hands-on construction management. Before launching Ares Construction, Mr. Adams established himself in the world of institutional equity research. He served as a Senior Research Associate at Raymond James, where he specialized in Business Development Companies (BDCs) and other specialty finance entities. He later continued his work at B. Riley Securities, providing institutional coverage of publicly traded BDCs. His responsibilities in finance—including detailed financial modeling, portfolio analysis, and the publication of investment research used by top-tier asset managers—provided him with a unique perspective: one that blends strategic thinking with operational discipline. That same analytical rigor now shapes how Ares Construction approaches project planning, budgeting, and execution.
